What it is

It is a day, so it is worth coming back to. Each time you do, some of it will have moved on, some because we changed it and some because you asked.

It is early, and it will grow a lot.

Keeping it

It goes on a home screen, from the browser you are already in.

A web page can put an icon on a phone's home screen, and it is worth showing how. Both routes are here, and your phone gives you one of them.

iPhone and iPad

  1. In Safari, tap Share
  2. Tap Add to Home Screen
  3. Look for a flat

Android

  1. In Chrome, tap the three dots
  2. Tap Install app
  3. Look for a flat

The icon says a flat. The world still names itself that, so that is the name that ends up under it on your home screen. Tapping it opens Weekday. Look for a flat.

Then it runs off your device. The first time it opens there is a moment of loading. After that it lives on the phone. Aeroplane mode, no signal, a tunnel, a waiting room with an hour to fill: it opens and it plays. When we change something, the new version arrives the next time you open it with a connection.

What changed in Weekday, and when.

  • A bathroom, so the flat is four rooms, and a living room with furniture in it. Sound arrived, so a towel and a pan stop making the same noise. It ships silent and you turn it on when you want it.

  • The tab said "a kitchen" for a while after the flat had grown to four rooms. It says the right thing now.

  • A thumb stick, so you move by dragging instead of tapping.

    Say what you want different and we will change it, for you and for everyone who wanted the same thing.
